Hi everyone! I hope your week is going well. I know it's Wednesday, but Friday will be here before you know it. The big question is if that even matters anymore. My weekends and weekdays simply run together so I barely know what day it is or what I'm supposed to be doing. I even forgot my dog's vet appointment because I have all my days confused (sorry Jojo). Anyway, before I get too far off track, here is our blog question of the week. I was inspired by Author CL Walters to ask if any of you listen to playlists dedicated to specific books to set the novel's tone. Here are some of your answers. Instagrammar @infinitesjes says 'YES! I love knowing what music the author connects to characters/the plot.' Authors Margaret Beeler and Krystal Craiker say not while they read because they need complete silence to concentrate on the story. I, personally, see more authors creating their own playlists such as Chandra Blumberg and Wesley Alexander Parker. I also believe that it's a wonderful way to bring both arts together and make a more well-rounded reading experience. What do you think? What are some of your favorite book playlists? Please share your thoughts with us and be on the look out for our Monday Instagram question in my Stories. Until next time, Happy Reading!
